There are many injustices in this world, but the worst one is lack of knowledge of who Jesus is
Matthew 16:13-15 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philipi, He asked the disciples, saying "Who do men say that I, the son of man, am?" 14 So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, Some say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them "But who do you say that I am?"
Jesus doesn't want to know what others think of him and what society thinks, He wants to know what you think! He wants for you to know who He is, not to know who people say He is!
Matthew 16:16-17 Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, Son of the living God." 17 Jesus answered and said to him "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
No man can tell you who Jesus is! Only God can, when you get into His word, pray, and spend time with Him.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise; Shine
For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is
risen upon you
Arise - Stand up in a hostile, aggressive sense
Shine - To be a reflection
To be a reflection, first you have to see something. A mirror can't reflect you unless it sees you
If we're going to be a reflection of God, we're going to have to know Him first.
The glory of the LORD is who He is! In other words, Who He is has risen upon you!
Lord, I pray that you bless everyone who reads this post. Give them the desire to dive into the knowledge of who you are, so that they may become a reflection of you! Give them that hunger for a personal relationship! In Jesus' name, Amen!
